Natalia Marashova

Mandolin Music

Natalia Marashova is a Russian mandolinist from St. Petersburg, Russia, a graduate of The Saint-Petersburg State Conservatory named for Rimsky-Korsakov, and a graduate of The Wuppertal Conservatoire, Germany, class of Prof. Marga Wilden-Husgen. Natalia is a multiple winner of various international competitions, Fellow of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, member of various music festivals in Russia and Europe. For many years she collaborated with ensembles of different styles, among those are the Orchestra of the Mariinsky Theatre, the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, the art-rock band "Vermicelli Orchestra," the WDR Symphony Orchestra, Capella Aquisgrana, and Clemencic Consort. Ms Marashova regularly conducts master classes in Europe and Russia and participates in international juries. She is now actively teaching and performing concerts as a soloist or in collaboration with pianist Denis Ivanov and clavesinist Elena Kurilova.
